Set within a secure, gated 17-acre plot deep in the French countryside, the lake itself spans 12 acres and is fishable from all sides, featuring a total of 10 swims for a maximum of five anglers. Fishing is only permitted from designated swims.
Rod pods are essential due to the hard banks and the astro-turfed areas at the front of the swims.
Each comfortably sized swim is equipped with its own electricity supply, with an extension coil providing power for devices with UK plugs—particularly useful for charging the various pieces of tech we all now rely on.
We also provide anglers with hooking mats and slings; however, you must bring your own landing nets (minimum 42 inches), which must be dipped before fishing. This process will be carried out by Darren, the Bailiff. To avoid any delays in starting your fishing session, we recommend packing your nets in an easily accessible location.
The five main swims most commonly fished are located along the bank that stretches from the fishery's entrance gate to the cabins at the far end of the lake.
From these swims, anglers can cover the entire lake.
These are:
- The Gate
- Windy Fields
- Dead Oak
- Short Walk
- Two Sheds
Other swims include:
- Shallows
- Duck Rest
- Middle Ground
- Cat Run
